As a small urban Montessori school, we have an incredible community feel–our students model the peace and independence that are foundational values of Montessori philosophy.

Our Montessori approach follows each child- meeting them exactly where they are, in terms of skills. Auditory, visual, and tactile components are at the core of all instruction. Our students develop into well rounded individuals academically, socially, and emotionally.

The mixed-age classrooms promote cooperation and allow learners to be challenged and to review materials until they feel strong mastery. Montessori is a respectful methodology that allows students to engage deeply with materials. The teachers are passionate, life-long learners. Watts has been a great fit for our family.

There is so much love and education happening at Watts. The teachers and staff are welcome everyone each day. The students are in mixed age classrooms, and can learn from each other and the teachers.
