Our student body is comprised of roughly one third English Learners. They represent many cultures, countries and languages, which adds to the rich diversity of our school.
Teachers go above and beyond for their class. They work hard to connect with their students and meet their emotional needs. The school spirit and sense of community is strong here.
Teaching teams at grade levels are proactive.
The teachers love the kids and work really hard to teach and nurture the whole child. We have been able to make connections with families who we may not have met otherwise. HVE is a close-knit community with a common goal to provide an equal opportunity to a great education for all students.
I love the neighborhood community we’ve met through HVE. It’s a group of thoughtful, engaged parents who believe all students deserve a great education and are working hard to support teachers and admin in making that happen.
The smiles that greet us from staff, families and students alike are what make HVE a welcoming and wonderful place to be!
