YE Smith is a small school so we have the opportunity to really get to know our students and their families. The size also allows us to reach each student where they are at and to help them grow from there. I feel it’s a hidden gem in DPS.
Y.E. Smith is a special place full of deep potential. We are small in number but big in heart. Y.E. Smith is safe space for all learners.
My favorite part of teaching is seeing my students gain in English language proficiency and go on to become successful adults.
This school is special because of the people. The staff in this building have an authentic love for for children and one another.
